Keep trying the higher octane fuel for a few weeks and see how it pans out?

It would take less time for the ecu to re learn after a week and a full tank of fuel, I may be proved wrong.

At a guess yeah. Although not massively common. Mine went on the front, albeit on the Impreza. It wasn't fitted properly and rubbed away :(

Imo mate just get a more track focused tyre. You will be pissing in the wind with road tyres.
