The G13 is great - it's completely replaced my WASD key function and the G6 and G7 buttons are brilliantly placed for thumb presses on alt-fire/melee functions. I picked my up cheap off eBay when the seller said that one of the buttons had packed in. I've had it over two years and all the...
Been using Logitech stuff for years. I've had various mice and keyboards - and now use a three-way split between a G15 keyboard, a G600 mouse and a G13 gameboard.
However, Logitech's driver support is one step away from shite. I'm principally aiming towards the G25 wheel support here - where I...
Sounds interesting m8. I wonder if they have the rear view rendered separately and put a much lower importance on it for the game - hence the frame rate issues when the performance starts to drop. Maybe I can even turn that rear view off in the options?
I ran nvinspect with this and GPU0 was...
Well, after leaving my PC on all night, the Beta had finished downloading this morning.
I have to say, it's bloody impressive for a Beta. Far more polished than Project Cars, I think it lacks the 'scariness' of it though. I use both the throttle and brake far less carefully in Forza - knowing...
Jonnio - the 460s were good cards in their day. I used to run two in SLi for quite a while. Still capable for general use - they will be struggling with the likes of Forza.
If you still want a capable racing game that the 460 can easily cope with - I'd recommend GTR2 and its sibling, Race '07...
I think the only thing that looks a bit weak in that clip above Andy - are the spray plumes from behind the wheels. They flicker and don't look 'right' - almost like four little white jets from some angles?
If its any consolation, it will run like crap on mine too! In theory - if the multi-GPU and G-Sync features were enabled, it would be a much better experience. Splitting the workload between four GPUs and 8GB of memory - with it in its current form, I'll be having one GPU just running with 2GB...
If your PC is running Windows 10 - DX12 comes built within it. However, it can happily run on DX11 should your graphics card not be compliant with DX12.
I have serious reservations about 3rd person perspectives being allowed in the likes of Battlefield. It shouldn't be allowed.
Getting a wide-angled view of the outside is a bit lame in my book. Interestingly, when the devs pushed the same view out to MechWarrior Online, there were masses of...
Windows 10 & DX12 loveliness beckons....
Anyone had a look on the Windows Store to see if the Beta is available for download yet? Might be a time delay being American?

Lol - some proper clutching-at-straws comments here. But of course, they are right anyway....

Brilliant looking car. Tidy, purposeful and with plenty of poke too.
Aside from its ability on A-roads, I bet the Meg transplant makes it a great motorway cruiser too?
Base building is an RTS given. It should be a core requirement of every worthy game in the genre.
There's little better than just about fending off the attackers in the early phase and continuing to hold them off as your base gets bigger and stronger. Ultimately, you create a powerhouse from...
Not yet. I'll have a look for that though.
If Relic combined the Dawn of War theatres with the gameplay of their other RTS franchise (Company of Heroes) - I think we'd be seeing strategy nirvana.....
It isn't, really.
You've effectively taken the ignition barrel and wiring loom from a Ford and are attempting to start up a Vauxhall with it. Although there is a lot of crossover in terms of specs and compliance, the chances of the two articles working are very slim indeed.
I guess I'm...
Aren't they still inherently 'scratchy' though?
I used one years ago at the previous house, as the trees under which I parked had fruit on them. I never had a sap issue (luckily) - but every two years, the fruit came and birds s**t it out.
Vile stuff - literally stained the roof and bonnet...
Such a meaningful and open thread Dano - non-petrolheads simply don't understand the attachment to machinery.
So sorry to hear about the awful issues you've had to deal with recently. If that bike was my dad's and I was in the same situation - I'd aim to restore it and once done, book a few...
Great input guys. I think for the relatively small price hike in an i7 Skylake over the i5, I'd prefer to go for the higher spec CPU. It's just a niggling need with me. If the price gap between an i5 6600K @ 3.5Ghz stock and 6MB cache is £198 - I can justify the i7 6700K @ 4.0Ghz stock and 8MB...
