    Engine building.

Got one of these myself for a Xmas present too. How self-righteous and smug did I feel when I got in touch with the manufacturer and said "...one of my valve-springs appears to be missing from my engine". It was almost like I knew what I was talking about. Unless they can run on 7 springs? ;) D.

    Home raid setups

Reading this thread, I feel like an unrational desire to create more data. Is it wrong that everything I have that I genuinely believe to be important would fit onto three DVD-R's? D.

    Mass Effect 3

Bought this cheap-er off Amazon last week and have put about 7 hours into. So far, so good - really liking it - especially the production values and the same music for the galaxy map, etc. Downloaded the free 1.8GB alternative ending too after I've still closed my eyes and ears to the apparent...

Cant turn off MIL light , RSTUNER!

True. But would you want your laptop to switch off halfway through removing the code? ;) D.

Cant turn off MIL light , RSTUNER!

Without sounding all grand-dad about this - I wouldn't be doing anything with the RSTuner without plugging your laptop into the mains first! D.

    Watch dogs

That does look superb. Looks like a grown-up version of GTA (which despite my repeated attempts, I simply can't get into). Brilliantly presented, but I see it suffers from the 'moon-walk' glitch where everyone despite casting shadows on the ground - appears to be hovering an inch or two above...

2002 Toyota MR2 Roadster. (Full homo content)

But they are a piece of piss to clean! Genuinely the only alloys on a car I regularly washed, that I didn't mind doing. ;) I can imagine. Even in standard form and in the damp - it's easy to get that rear-end unsettled. Force-fed and a wallop of more torque would be interesting to drive! D.

RB182 yesterday (approx 12pm) - NHS building roundabout, Nottingham

Had the stripes on it too. D.

How do you close an MK2 bonnet? "The Renault way"

Same here. The other month, I was in rolling traffic on the M62 and passed a people-carrier where the bonnet clearly wasn't shut properly. Bibbed him and put the window down to tell him. His response? "Cheers m8" - then continued to carry on driving? :S Surely with the traffic doing about 5mph...

    Steam - including latest offers

FTL is a cracking game - but I wish it could be just a 'tad' easier. It's very unforgiving and at times a little frustrating because of it. :) D.

    [XB360/PS3/PC] Crysis 3

Me-ow! :P I'd prefer it to be more like the original, than the follow-up - but I did like both of the previous games regardless. Will definitely be buying it. D.

Aliens - colonial marines absolute ****

They would have been far better at licensing the L4D2 engine from Valve and heavily modifying it with the Aliens setting. 4 Marines going up against waves of aliens in an objective-based FPS? Would have worked far better imo... D.

    Dropping cogs

Same here - even in the company cars/hire cars I've borrowed too. D.

    Humming noise, not wheel bearing?

This. Offside rear has been replaced twice in the 100k+ I've had the 182 and on both occassions, the noise has gone. Sounds very much like the symptoms I had - and again, I checked all the wheels for heat excessive build-up or anything feeling 'loose'. It's a good chance it is a wheel bearing...

    Clutch pedal squeak

If it's anything like 182's - they ALL do it - especially when warm! D.

Laptop advice needed - can you help?

Could you push to a Macbook with Office 2013 thrown in? Sounds like that would be a perfect accessory given the Apple devices you currently have as well? D.

    Clean install with SSD

Not bothered about redundancy m8 - I never have anything important saved anyway. I'm more thinking of the practicality of getting the largest single drive I can with them. :) D.

    Haters gonna hate.

How come it is so loud? Is it Simply a pipe and nothing else? Not my cup-of-tea - but fairplay for trying it for the laugh. The Evo gets too loud in-car for me at times - and that's WAAAAAY quieter than yours! :) D.

    Clean install with SSD

Chaps - I've got 2x 240GB SSD's with SATA 6gbps support. My mobo has two SATA 6 ports on it too. Is it worth just RAID Zeroing them together to get a single 450GB-ish drive? Or should I keep one strictly for the O/S and the other for apps usage? Cheers, D.

Blackpool Legend Fires NW Rally Stages

Cheers Martin! She's not flawless by any means, but she still looks the part! The Evo X is definitely growing on me. I wasn't keen at first, but it definitely has that subtle/aggressive look going on. I'd like to have a go of one to see how much difference there is in the drive of the X...

Anyone? The silver one had a CS11 sticker on the rear window.... D.

Heading eastbound towards the M6. The last of the reg could have been TLS iirc? Do.

Had that the first morning at our B&B near Fort William. Very nice - I was pleasantly surprised! I'll definitely have haggis again. D.

New PC... Recommend me some games!

That does include the free-to-play stuff, don't forget! Even if you don't download it, Steam classifies you as owning it. ;) D.
