It does surprise me a little that God's Platform is in 2nd place.....
Will be interesting to see what it's like in a few weeks. Strange how the Msoft Bookend is the last of the three? It was top on BC2....

They probably are m8. Very easy front-end on it too - you'd have to be a complete novice on PCs now in order not to work out what your cards are doing.
Quite clever I thought in the absence of SLi, it automatically selected the 2nd GTX460 to become a dedicated Physx handler - all without me...
The bridge is essential to SLi operation, apparently? All SLi options are greyed-out with a message saying that "a bridge connector is required for SLi operation."
I'm pretty sure that Crossfire would function without the bridge cable, though? Oh well - I'll just wait for delivery of the...
I take it that you can get longer SLi bridges than 70mm?
I've got one, but that would only allow me to put both cards side-by-side in order to reach each other - i.e - slots 1 & 2.
On the Asus Rampage III Extreme mobo, it appears that slots 1 and 3 are required for the full 16x throughput...
Will be rolling for a day or two without an SLi bridge. Are they uber-essential to the operation of Sly - or can they operate without the bridge cable like Crossfire?
Cheers,

"This launch solidifies Battlefield as a leading entertainment brand."
^^^ - that bit concerns me. This Battlefield game certainly feels more EA than DICE. More cash-cow than a progress in the series overall. I'd like to see the percentage switched - allow DICE much more control themselves...
Amnesia is currently on there at £2.60.
Supposedly quite scary? Quite apt a download for tonight of all nights....

What platform are you running it on m8? The graphics on the aircraft part of the SP campaign were impressive, but the rest has just been average, imo.
Good, but by no means drenched in wow-factor...

Make that tomorrow now....
Really liked the sniper missions on the Job Board. Especially taking out those bomb-buggies from extreme range. Leading the target accurately with mouse control - ftw!

Kinda. Did you ever do the co-op trials/challenges/whatever they are called on MW2? It's similar to that, except on the COD version, they had a kill tally and once you reached that, the level was over. The harder the difficulty, the more of them there were, or the time allocated got reduced...
PMSL! Quote of The Thread - imo.
Really liked co-op mode last night when I teamed up with a m8 of mine for a few rounds. The bipod extension is a brilliant addition to the lying prone position - reducing panning movements, but allowing for greater accuracy. Good to see when devs add...
Chaps - what's the consensus regarding the Physx settings within the nVidia control panel when using SLi?
It appears that you can set the Physx primarily to either nVidia card in the SLi setup. Or, leave it solely in the possession of the CPU to handle.
Are there any pros/cons of a particular...
I'm sticking in an identical twin tomorrow for SLi. As the first GTX460 was a hand-me-down, I don't think getting an SLi setup for the circa £140 the next card will cost me is too bad overall.... :)

I think I know where you're coming from. At times, even though it does look impressive on the face of it - the landscape reminds me a lot of Battlefield 1942 on the El Alamein map. I guess they haven't got the uncapped source of PC graphics cards to manipulate either.
The shareholders point is...
I must admit - I feel the SP campaign is very frustrating at times - certainly more so than the likes of BC2, etc. I can't quite put my finger on what it is - but I'll still plough on regardless. :)
