Bodge, if you can - try to persevere with the engineer class - it really is a great all-rounder class to play. And once you get used to the gravity pull of the RPG rounds and calculate the firing arc accordingly - you can damage and sometimes even destroy enemy vehicles at long range. At the end...
Lol - nice one. :)
I think what makes those types of shots much more rewarding when you pull it off, is the length of time the round takes to reach the target - including the bullet-drop. COD players would have killed three players and died four times in that same amount of time. ;)

My longest one was on Port Valdez......
Longest ranged kill for the round....
I posted that in the BC2 thread - never managed anything like that since. It was from the roof of that concrete structure which is the Yanks first spawn point on Port Valdez :Rush. I was on top of that with...
Good advice. I've had each and every BF title that's been released. On two occassions, I tried multiplayer (BF2142 and BC2) and didn't 'get it' initially. I went back a few weeks later and it just gelled straight away. It's much more of a learning curve imo than COD, but in due course BF is much...
And this week's award for the most incorrect answers, goes too...... ;)
You actually think COD takes more skill to play than BC2? Rolfcopter.
Fire up a hardcore game on PC and I'll join you. See how far your perk list mania gets you then.....

Excellent read. :)
I missed this thread initially - great to see bits being hybridised from different Hondas. They do have an appeal - subtle and very effective!

Lol - sorry :) I guess working from the inside, you must get just as frustrated as the rest of us?
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?591310-Insurance-quotes-WTF!
For my 19 years of driving, car insurance has been nothing but an infuriating, illogical syphon of money. Rarely have I...
My 182 was recalled at had that sorted out. However, if failure still occurred and the insurance company said the above to me, I would physically drive down to their HQ and deposit a Lincoln log on their reception desk.
In order of cretin status, I would rather admit that my job was to...
Just having a quick run through the SP campaign again and spotted the below..
Note the accuracy indicator on the T88S with the scope attached
Now again with the T88S, but with the s**tty reflex scope on it...
As I've cropped the images, the difference doesn't look that much - but in...
Not as expensive as I thought, tbh. Does that just cool the GPU itself though - not the memory on the card?
Feel free to PM me when you're thinking of retiring one of those 580GTX's!
D.
A weird BIOS setting that? I did think that the BIOS could have been mirroring the memory (effectively giving you 4GB maximum with 8GB installed) - but that's much more of a server feature than a home PC one.
Why would the mobo manufacturer provide a method for halfing the memory? :S

Lol - tried this on Realistic Mode last night - WTF?! Just about managed to take on two Messers myself but I was in Spin & Stall City for the most part. I think purely for the fun aspect, I'll knock down the difficulty or else it will do my nut in.
I much preferred the damage model on Realistic...
Average. ;)
Pearly white fans at the minute. How long before they get caked in s**t?!
Do you run the 580's slammed together? I'd leave an slot-space between the two if you can.

Is this normal? I know it's 'expected' to draw a fair amount of current in order to power the CPU and the onboard gfx. But that little white PSU is seriously hot - just about comfortable enough to hold in the palm of your hand.
Can anyone else confirm that their PSU is the same?
Cheers,

I know a few people have mentioned this - especially as its cropped up in the Steam summer sale.
What a great WW2 flying game it really is. I dusted off the 'ol Microsoft Sidewinder FF stick as I was impressed to see that the game had a preset profile for it and it's MUCH better to use than...
I wonder if true 3D FPS games would arguably make you more accurate? If the brain compensates for depth of field and in doing so, leads a target 'subconsciously' more accurately than in 2D - could 3D players have a slight edge? I guess the same could be said for racing games too. Attempting that...
