no, it has to be soldered full stop. once soldered add a dab of glue either side

what ive done in the past is add a little glue either side of a switch to add some strength. but not super glue proper two part glue

potentially I could fix your key for the cost of just a second hand one on ebay. potentially it still wont work and you would still have to buy a new one :) :)
