I find that Netgear is very much a Ford Focus/Vauxhall Astra equivalent of a router. Loads of them out there and they do what they need to do without worthless addons and configs that only a network tech would want.
The last one I bought was a DGN2000 (http://www.netgear.co.uk/dgn2000.php) and...
Had a quick go as recon last night - got a few guys, but most points were from the Spots of enemy. What's the 12x scope like people? Any good?
Managed to get two snipers 'back' for nailing me first. Gets quite addictive moving in and out of cover! I actually waited for a good 30secs or so for a...
Aim the paint-gun (sorry) tracer-dart at the target you want to track. Doesn't matter how far away it is - the tracer flies arrow straight. That blob of 5 pixels on the horizon is actually an enemy tank, but not a match for the accuracy of the tracer dart.
Allow said tank to approach (assuming...
Ah, you've got Lee's old Trophy then? Good number! :)
Probably something and nothing - I'd get it to a specialist such as RS Tuning which might be the nearest to you?

Never online m8 with RTS games - I'm utterly hopeless at them! I did try a fair few times with my favourite of Company of Heroes but consistently got my arse handed to me. I'm not sure there's a skill set low enough to support my RTS ability! :)

That's clearly a design flaw in the game, then. An expert tank driver shouldn't be able to run riot through the map - even with two engineers onboard. Just in the same way that a helo pilot shouldn't be able to pwn all because short of a good tracer-dart combo, the only thing decent enough to...
I still think the tracer dart system is a bit lame. I've seen it a few times now where someone quad-bikes in to our base, nips around the back and tracer darts the helo - usually right at the rear so that boarding pilots don't see it. Makes it much easier to bring down - obviously.
Managed to...
Not really looked into this as of yet, but is there anyway of getting the old XP-style network icon on Windows 7....
...and replace the utterly pointless, inanimate, Icon of Turd that comes with Win 7? I've already got the Windows Gadgets installed that tell me the info I want, but I miss...
Looking forward to the expansions for this. Which one's coming first, does anyone know?
Would be great to a full-blown campaign playing as the Zerg, imo.

That's mainly what I was getting at a few posts back. Get a couple of skilled medics together with decent unlocks and its really quite difficult to over-powered them. Unless an APC or tank makes an appearance (yet another reason why I MUCH prefer vehicles in game). In fact, a trio of us (two...
Those case mods are a bit 'meh', thinking about it. Check some of these out... ;)

That does sound a much better approach. Though I guess it mainly works on clan games or where people know each other well? I can't remember if it was Project Reality that I played where even the pilot class had its own kit - and you couldn't board a plane/helo when equipped as assault, support...
The trouble with any of those types of weapons, is that they are rarely used in the game for what they are designed to do in real life. You hardly ever see people firing those those types of guns from the mid-to-long range in the typical 'fire support' role. More often than not, they are there...
Had my first rage quit of BC2 just now - lol! ;)
Just utter b****cks of the highest order. If FRAPs didn't take up so much drive space with its recording, I'd leave it on permanently to record some classic BS moments.
Some of the outcomes were just laughable - begging the question of WTF the...
A little bit, I suppose. I liked the option that you could pick to attack their air defences or ground defences on the mission before it to minimise their assets.
The one thing I thought that did go a little off the rails was the Rasta Spectre guy. He was involved a lot at the start then...
Hi Leo,
I've used a good one in Bury before now. Give me a shout if you want the details....

Just completed the single player campaign. Really enjoyable RTS throughout I thought.
Did anyone watch the credits at the end? Fecking hell - there must have been literally thousands of people that worked on this. The only one in terms of number of staff involved that looked similar was Mass...
All depends how far your daily drive is, imo. The difference in MPGs between my 182 and Jain's V6 is definitely noticable. I couldn't afford (or really want to!) the juice to fund a 38 mile round trip, too and from work everyday.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there. The PC servers are always populated - regardless of what time of day it is. At times its frustrating trying to push your way in! :)

I've had similar issues, but with Steam backups. Most of the time, the 4GB+ game you've backed up, restores fine. On other games, it looks like it just ignores the restore and continues to download the full thing anyway. Bladdee annoying, I tell you!
