The trick is, is to let the game catch up with you. As it saves your progress quite frequently, take out a few guys then wait a few secs. It saves the game and then appears to update the bad guys spawning points. By that, guys simply don't appear behind you from the place you've just left...
Lol! I remember doing that in the Celica I borrowed. Kept looking at the trip counter that seemed to stay on 99,999 for ages.
C'mon.... c'mon! 100k dammit! :)

Erm - not liking that at all. But the neat 'I want to be driving a truck today' steering wheel attachment is quite unique. ;)
Looks like you'd so much as place a bag of crisps on the drivers seat and all the tyres would be rubbing. I've never really 'got' the ultra-low look - seems far more...
I don't think they will worry about that in Turkey. ;)
Nice idea actually. Probably a bit extreme for a daily driver, but I think that that would look well smart on a track car.
edit - argh! Is that a V6 badge on the very first pic? Oh no, no, no.... :nono:

Hehehe! Imagine it. Me, you, Chwissy, Scutchio and psycho Cookie all rollin' through the wasteland together?
I'd try to be the reasonable guy amongst us lot and talk to people. Assuming Cookie hadn't capped their ass first. ;)

Aye - you too! Shame I was on taxi duty that night - would have been good to have a drink and a proper catch up. Jain feel asleep in the car within two minutes of setting off back - lol!

They are like hens teeth to get hold of unfortunately. I waited months for them and as my fronts had got to sub-legal levels, I had to change to something else.
I picked Dunlop SP Sport Maxx's and I have to say, they have been brilliant. Not the cheapest, but I'd certainly consider getting...
That's one of the Belkin Nostromo pieces of kit. I had an early version given to me as a freebie. It has masses of potential for being a great device as you use that in your left hand and a typical mouse in the other.
I never really had the patience to give it justice though.

I've had the Logitech MX518 for quite a few years now and it is a superb piece of kit:-

It's coped with my 280+ hours on BF2142, 70+ hours on Fallout 3, the campaigns of the last three previous COD games, amongst many...
Just come off my first 5 mins of MW2 multiplayer and once again, I understand how I absolutely hate COD online. Just had the deathcam view and the way the server interpreted the way I died was nothing like what I was viewing on my screen.
I'd probably love this on a sub <4ms LAN, but online...
Looks great that, Adrian. Was the remit that the model had to be modular for different roles? Or was it more of a case of you two guys saying "it can look like this, or this, or even this?"
I can imagine how some designers would get obsessed by some of their designs!

Nice vids Whiteley! Did the red R5GTT belong to someone off here? I noticed you passed it really easily and then around 7.30 on the 2nd vid, it was pulled up on the grass on the right hand side - just out of Knickerbrook.
Great mish-mash of different makes and models there. What was the most...
Ah - nice one. I haven't exactly got the best in terms of PC anymore - it's over three years old, so it might be dragging it's feet a little!
Apart from that, it's been flawless. Very impressive actually given the amount of detail going on the screen all at once.

Anyone noticed some weird (and a bit random) slow-down issues on the PC version? It slows down for like a second, then immediately picks up again. It only does it when there seems to be a level where there's plenty of AI bots on it.
I've been trying the Spec Ops mode and on Sniper Fi, it's...
Citroen 2CV.... ;)
My 'box was very slushy from new but felt transformed with a change of gearbox oil at the 36k service. Since then, it's been changed twice and I may even have it done again at 72k. It can only help to extend the life of the gearbox itself, imo...
