Sorted - mods to the rescue! :)
D - that would great if I could hear it first hand. My backbox is literally shot to bits now and it needs replacing. Have you still got the standard cat fitted to yours?
Jamie - thanks for the clips! Gives me a good insight into what they sound like. :)

Went past my birdshit-clad motor whilst I was stuck in the filter lane, this afternoon.
Your motor looked a whole lot cleaner than mine! Lowered slightly too?

Looks to be the kind of g33k s**t that I'd be into. Obviously, three monitors is the only way to roll, however....

Normally I'd say that I would be the same. But I was given a company Celica for those three months, complete with fuel card. So for a quarter of a year, I had free motoring. It certainly helped ease my waiting pains - lol!
Great car it was too - just too underpowered. It was the 130bhp...
FPMSL! That's almost on par with those elusive network card drivers that you sometimes have difficulty finding that say "Click here to search the internet". Erm? How?

Mine did that occasionally from new. It was instantly fixed by a gearbox oil change - and for the money, I get it changed quite often.
When mine is bokked in for its 60k service, it will get its third gearbox oil change. Overkill, I know, but worth it imo.
Sorry to hear about the OP's car...
I think the black on the front works really well against the white. Good choice!
I know about the 3 month wait too! I ordered my 182 in September 2004 and had to wait until the first week of December before it arrived. Try not to think about it much (easier said that done, I know!) or else you...
A good balance there of being modded, but not OTT.
I especially like the snug-fit of the alloys in the wheel arches. Not many cars can pull that off and still look decent, imo. Nicely debadged too. :)

The difference here Fred, is that you have both the ability and the availability of parts to get the job done correctly. :)
Most Joe Publics (myself included) would be nervous of doing what is essentially a rebuild after buying the car.

If I tried that, my PC would demand to run several stress-tests at once and then throw itself into a bath. With an electric heater strapped to it for good measure.
Quite rightly so. Poor thing. Death before OSX? Sounds about right..... ;)
