I liked my Sporting too - though the GT was better. Neither handled corners well at all though. :)
Had the boot badges painted black after the GT one got nicked - went for the stealth look - lol.

Quad SLi (iirc) is made up from two graphics cards, each with dual GPUs onboard - hence making four graphics processors in total. The latest high-end mobos offer triple-SLi for potentially 6 GPUs, if you get three 9800GX2 cards, for example. Which as far as I'm aware, only Vista will make use...
So does nVidia. I've got an Asus 7900GTX in the first slot and an XFX 7900GTX in the 2nd one - and it works fine. :)
To the OP - dual cards aren't all they are cracked up to be. It varies from game to game and your typical performance increase is around 60% - though it can be less.
When I...
Any real advantage in the 8800GT over the 7900GTX SLi setup? With the 8800GT's down to barely a ton now - if the performance increase in there, it maybe worth it?
I'm running Vista too, so there's the potential of DX10 support too.
Cheers,

I think you're in an identical situation to me this week!
I went looking at this baby last Wednesday, having discounted Evo's for years....
It was perfect for me - just perfect. Literally everything I want from an Evo - but the insurance killed it for me as it was modified. A Group 20...
Cheers chaps!
Was that what it was? I did think he was going to get flagged if it had started dumping oil everywhere.
I did see that Evo you mentioned m8, but we parked up near the Fogerty Moss centre - my 182, Rob's V6 and Martin's Celica GT-Four. Wandered about most of the day and...
I think it depends where you go. I got refused entry into a casino in America when I was 29 - lol! Because I couldn't prove how old I was (passport back at the place we were staying) they said no.
Good pic there Deeg. Was it a 'point & click' shot - you didn't take much time with it? I...
Glad I'm not the only one who thought that! Complete MoTeC display on the dash and sequential gears as well. They must have pumped some serious cash into that motor. :approve:

Could be. What are they? :o
In all honesty, it's probably best viewed as a showcase - of what could be achieved with a donor Jap car and a fat wallet. The rate of acceleration of some of the cars was amazing - it really does give you some idea of how tough those internal components must be...
Good day out at Oulton Park today, though the weather was really screwed up. One minute it was....
The next it just chucked it down! When I first got there this morning, most cars were struggling with wheelspin. Very quick rises in revs followed by the compulsory wastegate chatter...
Ah! I thought there can't be many RB 182s with CS stickers around this neck of the woods!
Nope - wasn't me that - I came down from Shadsworth, past the hospital. I'm amazed that you parked where you did - well dodgy shoppers with full trolleys and door-dings just waiting to happen! ;)
I was...
I'd personally pick neither, m8. I'd rather give my money to one of the many specialists garages who've been mentioned on here that know the Clio's inside and out.
Whereabouts in the country are you?
