Don't cut corners on the mobo, Dave. One of the core things I will happily pump money into with every system build. The amount of times when I've been impressed with a motherboard maybe 12+ months down the line, because it supports I feature that I initially didn't need! Add a bit more wedge...

I threw out my old 3Dfx card just after Christmas during a tidy-out. An Orchid Righteous 3D - cost me fecking £245 back in '97 as well! The best add-on card I ever bought was a Gravis Ultrasound when I was in Seattle. Totally pissed on the SoundBlaster 16ASP I had at the time. :) D.
