Spot on. My point exactly.
To me, it's just a ball-ache, crap that ideally I could do without. But regular Joe Public would have to leave all that useless junk on there.

Just prepping a few laptops for work now. Why on earth do manufacturers preload so much crap on their laptops/PCs?
First to go - Norton, without a shadow of a doubt. Then the five ISP setups, care programs, registration documentation, security turd and other 110% useless bits of crap. These...
Aye - looks a tad similar that case! ;)
The worst bit about it is that fan at the base of the chassis - totally stupid location in terms of getting leads around it. I've ditched it this time and placed it behind the orange Akasa fan near my gfx cards. Twin-fan-tunnel-POWER..... lol!
Which...
Here's a few of mine since I last added a couple of bits to it....
Asus M2N32-SLi Deluxe on v1001 (Beta) BIOS
AMD64 4800+ Dual Core (running at 2,640Mhz per core = +10% clock)
4GB (4x1GB) OCZ Spec-Ops PC6400 DDR2-800 - standard clock
2x Asus EN7900GTX Extreme in SLi Combo - standard clock...
Can someone lend me their 360 to try Forza 2 out? ;)
Sounds great from what I've heard. Are all the cars performance based or are their some sheds with like 32bhp in there too?

I'll try and get some up some - lol!
It was funny yesterday. I got the Mac Pro sent up to the building where it's being located on a flat-bed trolley and then bobbed up there an hour or two later.
The three Mac-guys up there had it on a table, side cover off and deep in conversation. They...
Hat's off to Apple - they definitely know how to make a decent case! I'm hoping the guys will leave it alone for the time being until the other bits arrive.
There's the 4GB of memory, 2x 500GB drives and an ATi X1900XT on the way - the gfx card being the last to arrive towards the end of next...
Having a mooch last weekend at some PC titles and came across Shadowrun on the shelf. The tech specs said it needed Windows Vista and a dual-core CPU.
Is this the first, or have there been other games that have snubbed XP before it?
D.
Yep, driven by Ethel on her way to the library by the sounds of it.
A 197 on par with a 182? Maybe? Against a 172 Cup - no chance - let alone 'annihilating it'.
Some salesmen are right chimps....

I never park up in Rammy, tbh, so I doubt it will be me! The closest I get to there is driving home, where sometimes I go down Walmersley Road.
I do see a heavily tinted black gold 182 near the M66 quite a bit though...

Cheers Carl - your's looked shiny - had it just had a clean???
To be honest, the I've found the ITG filter to make no obvious difference in terms of the way the car drives. It does however, have a nice intake 'whistle' noise when you're in the fun-zone beyond 5,000rpm.
Good thing about the...
Good quote! I guess I really need to test drive one first, before I get my hopes up too much. It's just when I see one (especially a 6 in Scotia White :approve: ) I just think they look awesome.

I don't like the 197 at all. No interest in swapping the 182 for one in the slightest. It might be a great car, but if that 'pang' of desirability isn't there when you see one on the road, then there's no point aiming for one, imo.
The only other current Renault car that makes my jaw drop is...
^^^^ - hi m8!
I'm from Ashton originally - and was over there today and just on my way back home. Mine's standard too, apart from the ITG panel filter.
Not too sure about a reputable exhaust place around A-U-L. I did have a straight-through pipe put on my PGGT before the 182 at a place over...
The RB 182 certainly was putting its foot down on the dual carriageway. I was a good 100 yards behind behind but couldn't get closer due to traffic.
Gave the 172 Cup driver the thumbs up and got the nod back in response on the other side of the road.
Either off here?

Of no particular order (except the No.1!)
Wings (Amiga) - in my opinion, the best Cinemaware game on the Amiga. Told the 'story' of an American pilot in the First World War. Some great dialogue in there and genuine feeling of you and your other pilots being totally out-numbered. Like nearly...
The difference being that those Starlets weighed a bit less than the 3 ton kerb weight of the Mk3 Clio.
Then they will add larger wheels, more cabin crap and before you know it, nearly all of the 'benefits' of that turbo will be counter-acted.
