All the dampers are different across the range apparently mate, cup packed is different to the Cup, normal 172's are different aswell etc no harm in trying them (if they actually fit that is!)

No i mean just the Sachs damper's that Euro Car Part's sell? Would they be any use with standard springs? Just curios, i dont actually have any intention of buying them! :o

They sell Sachs all round for (2.0 Clio's) unsure as to wether they would be any good?

I've tried non Renault thermostat's and ECP's and the ECP one simply does not work, put it in and it was pretty ill fitting in the housing, fired it up anyway and the needle pretty much shot up straight away. Bought the genuine Renault one and the needle shot up aswell but it turned out to be a...
