For me personally, I'd rather chew my own arm off than own a GTi - even the Mk5. The exception to the rule is that I just love the purity of the Mk1 GTi - but you're hardly likely to find a decent example now, not easily anyway. Tbh, I thought I was giving them a bad rep - not so much the GTis...

GTR is a great game, but I don't think the physics model is as good as that in GTL. Recovering from oversteer in GTR is nigh-on impossible - especially in long, sweeping bends... D.

Saw a racing blue 182, complete with stripes, southbound on the M66 around Junc. 2 at Bury. Would have been about 8.10am... About 10 mins later, a burgandy red Valver (N-plate, I think) came from the opposite direction on Grane Road. Anyone? D.

LOL m8 - it's a difficult game to crack, isn't it? Just when you think you've got the knack of driving one car with some degree of ability, you get enough cash to buy another - take it out on track and plough straight into the first tyre wall... ;) Hats off to you for playing it with a pad...
