Been a thread on this car allready(recently). General impression, its cheap but has had not the best of time. And yeah the guy who used to own it is on here

Yep that's the problem. Forums are a great source of information etc, but in this occasion you will struggle for a buyer. Good luck in whatever you do mate, hope everything work out for you.

If i had an experience with an annoying car, be it a clio, honda, vauxhall etc it would put me off buying another. Strangely i work in the car trade and i have a renault lol. People in work thought i was mad ha ha.

Shame, although to be honest i would get rid. The problem is even if you do get it fixed it will allways be in your back of your mind, 'when is something else going to break' I love my car 99% of the time but if it started to cause me loads of hassle like yours i would get rid. Harsh but an...

Its quite straight forward providing the old mounts come out okay. Just make sure you put the bolts back in the right way as reverse will be difficult to engage if not, as i found out lol. Less than an hour to do.

I'm working so can't make it. Going to book it in to birchdown on Monday for them to have a nose and fit my short shift. It hasnt blown up yet so hopefully I should be okay lol.
Dan
Cheers rob. So its not going to set fire anytime soon then? Oh and I didn't fit it, got a honda specialist to do it. The horn still works, so is it okay as it is?
Dan
So I was showing the guys in work my new steering wheel as you do. Pressed the horn and a puff of smoke came out. It's an aftermarket wheel I got fitted yesterday. Only happened twice and hasn't done it since. I know its a random one but has anyone else experienced that???
