Depends on the condition of your paint. The cleansers will brighten your paint but it doesn't contain fillers like tripple. Both provide a good base for wax

+1 Can't go wrong with clinically clean paint. It's when you start layering it gets more complicated

Tripple is my favourite AF product tbh. I just can't find fault with it :)

Take the weight of the engine with a suitable trolley jack (and pad to spread the load) on the sump. Undo the bolts and replace.
