Thoughts on using tripple/other via machine as a cleaner prior to polishing? The old mazda paint really seems to drink the polish making it dry out a bit too quickly.

It can, but not enough to actually matter in most cases.

I find Mercury finishes better, but for the price and availability I get the worst off with Autosol and then if needs be, finish with Mercury. Depends how fussy you are.

I find AF citrus diluted 50:50 to be more effective than foam but I tend to use both, sometime together (citrus, dwell, foam over the top).

Yeah, although you never need to touch C4 after applying it, I've seen a few people who actually prefer to freshly apply Revive for the finish. Also, I know you have newer wheels on, but personally I reckon 15'' or 16'' OZ F1s would looks immense. Have a search round, just an idea.
