Daft question have you checked the coil pack is earthed and all the ht leads are plugged onto the spark plugs properly.

One of my wheels either is imbalanced or has a slight buckle. Swapped it from the front to the rear and the car drives so much better now. Unlucky for you, but bad place to try a scissor jack. Rear of car and front of car, or a trolley jack.
