I do have a locking fuel cap, and yes, where the fuel filler is, the black hose, i wondered what it was, but when i had the car on the ramp it made it clear. Dangerous to have it just there with no protection to people putting holes in it.

My Mark 1 also is famous for this, the best one is when i switch of the engine at night with say a full or half tank. When i start the car up in the morning ive gone down by 2 bars. Really weird.

I had mine done and used a copper one, only later to find out that the Mark 1's need a rubber seal on the inside. Lost around 2l of oil (added up) then just replaced the seal myself on the driveway.
I had to take my rear cluster off, and break the blanking tab, then fit a bulb for the rear cluster to have both fog lights.
Saying that, i can have Front fogs or Rear Fogs on at different times. Mark 1 however.
