My hazards wont go off!
At the minute im having to drive with no indicators because i have had to take the fuse out.
It is deffinately not the switch. Ive had that problem before.
I have taken the switch off and they still stay on. With the fuse out and the switch connected, when i turn the...
sorted now. bled them and all is fine. when i put it all back together i had to push the piston back in to fit over the new pads (which were worn right down, i got my mony's worth) so i think i empited it when i did.
lesson learned for next time
thanks for the advice guys can go bed them in now
there is absolutely nothing happening in the first 3/4 of the brake pedal. even the bottom 1/4 is really weak. when i pump the pedal with the engine off it goes stiff(ish) execpt for the first 1/4 of movement.
i did not bleed the brakes afterward, wasnt sure if i had to?
help and solutions...
Whilst driving today a plastic carrier bag flew out into the road and in front of my car. I assumed it was stuck to the front bumper/grill. Nope! I then started to smell BURNING PLASTIC!!!!!!
the bag melted to the exhaust!
i tried to pill it off but its on there good and proper! Very annoying
Mine started to do this after i had an RS2 fitted. I just put it down to that. However it does only do it for the first minute of a journey.
If it does it all the time then thats pretty awesome, its like having auto heel toe!!
Is £300 - £330 a good price for minor service plus dephaser change?
The guy said £150 of that was for the dephaser.
Last service i had was a major so i have nothing to compare it to.
Don't laugh at me.... £100 for alignment, geo and wheel balancing. Don't know if that's a good price. I did use that to my advantage though. I said it was unacceptable for £100
Hiya everyone
I had my cars tracking and geometry done on Thursday and have noticed that my steering wheel was not centred. I went back to the stealers today to make them aware of how annoyed I was and that this needs correcting. My issue is that the geezer there said that to have my steering...
Hiya guys,
Right... Fitted some eibachs a few weeks ago, when I took the front shocks off the whole thing just fell apart in my hands (spring and top hat). It was like the spring hadn't been secured with the top hat.
Any way I scavenged two nuts that would do the job. Problem is that now...
The lights on the dash are a common fault mate. Under the passangervseat is a terminal, just wiggle it about when it comes on and that should turn it off. As for the centre console, I haven't got a clue. Mine is completely out, no fuses as far as I can see.
Cleaned mine yesterday so I got a cleaning kit doing nothing now. Not keeping the bmc so wont need it again. If anyone wants it drop me a pm. It has the detergent, oil and instructions.
But yeah, clean with water and cleaning product, let dry and re oil.
had the same problem. renault dont have a master set, you should have a code in your docs and they order a new one for you. i just took my car to every garage i could find. eventually one garage was able to get them off. only wanted a tenner for aswell.
took me ages too. u defo need to slack off the cedtre section clamp bit that goes on to the back bok... twist the whole thing and push it towards the front of the car. shouldnt need any cable ties. just tough to fit
Get the eagle f1s. Kwik fit are doin a deal if you buy all four you 25% off. I had them toyos on before and the f1s are so much better! Well worth the money. And they last forever
