So apply all the above to waxes.
I love my Natty's Blue - £15 and it out lasts lots of other waxes. But the application and gloss levels are significantly better from Glasur @ £whateveritiscurrentlypricedat.
If you can't tell the difference, you won't need to. But I can tell the difference...
If you look into 1560KG of steel and aluminium, I'm willing to bet it doesn't cost the same amount as a new R8.
In much the same way, a lot of organisations like AF put time and money into researching their products, testing them, building a network of suppliers and detailers etc etc etc. And...
Are you honestly telling me, if you won the lottery, you wouldn't go out and buy "a fancy car"?
People, who are passionate about cars, buy a sports/super car because they can afford to buy the best that money can buy, not modify one with after market parts to get it to the "same" level. BenP...
Yes, hence my comment of him pulling away out of the corners. And the fact you've let him pass surely proves that he was quicker and thus you should have backed off a bit to let him move up the track...
I don't understand. He was faster down the straight; you were quicker in the corners...
I've never been on a track day, so I'm not winding you up - I may be missing something entirely.
I would agree, if the person is as you described in your last line. But then again, when an R8 V10 Spyder goes passed and a bog standard looking Clio goes passed, which do you look at?
And I think you've missed the point entirely. The point was the difference between those that buy a 200hp car...
100% agreement!
Lol, this was me pissed at 4am. The OH woke up, came into the living room to see polisher calipers...
And yes, I do, actually for the same reasons as above!
So here's an update for you on the VERSOtility of this @Auto Finesse product...
One dirty three year old iPad leather cover... Spritzed and agitated with a soft brush;
Wiped down with a damp, clean MF and voila. Clean as a whistle!
I agree the last part is too far, but fairly certain it was said in jest, having met the bloke (Goodj).
Tom, not quite what he was alluding to fella. And for the record, I've modified my Clio (heavily) and S3.
What would you consider "putting them in their box"? I'm genuinely intrigued. The likelihood is the driver will be taking their "expensive 'fast' car" back to their expensive large house, before going on an expensive and extensive holiday to an expensive and intensive place...
I'm yanking your...
Your last point is completely null and void, as "anyone can spend money tuning their car". But agree there are benefits to both.
I, personally, would rather the Audi over a car that has been tuned to within an inch of its life, most likely stripped to aid performance and relies on said...
As above, he is superb and one of a small handful I would take my own cars to. Not a clue, but certain he will be able to scale a package that suits you and your wallet. My advice? Call him and talk. He's a great chap.
Great news. On Saturday I emailed the Drive+ team stating my dislike of the lack of updates from him, Spinelli and Farrah, alongside the lack of updates from all presenters of Drive+. I mentioned I would terminate my sub if this was to be the way of Drive+... just done so on hearing this news.
