    My TT QS

Re: My new car. TTQS Shouldn't be that much? £18 if memory serves. Granted it's expensive, but went with it based on replies from the AS.net lot.

    My TT QS

Re: My new car. TTQS No worries lad. Make sure you get the four parts, pipe, o-ring, oil and filter. It's an easy job... right Scrooge?!?

    Finally.

Did it that day - it gets very dirty, quite quickly for some reason. Clean it every month near as damn it. Cheers, Dave. Paint is pretty hard. 203s corrects it well, but took multiple IP3.02 hits first time around. But to be honest, it now just gets AF3 on it as that just looks so good. Nose.

    Finally.

Nice enough when not being wound up. Liked to keyboard warrior it up, still does on AS.net. True. Yep. But when you're a newbie, you don't see that, you just see the first things that come up. As above, Dan - not sure how you managed that. I've had the rears on for >20k and they now need...

Lol Ant. TomSx - what a coincidence. Have you met Jardo (internet "met")? He's on here as well... http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-forum-8l-chassis/208516-dump-valve.html

    Swissvax BOS

Bunch of poofs. Driven not detailed, y0! For £200 you could get half a cambelt change RyG! Or most of an oil/filter/pick up pipe change! Or... wait... :(

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

    Finally, eh Andy!

    Finally.

Same price, but 3x Tesco points, so £6 ish worth. Where are you shopping?

    Finally.

That's a winner buddy! Nice! Next is springs and the rARB, yes. Then likely DP and TBE, followed by a FMIC I think. Even if I don't map to suit, it'll keep the horsepower constant rather than heat soaked from the SMICs. Interesting, but too late me thinks Dan. I've got Contis all round as...

    Finally.

I'm looking at it as running it into the ground. I don't see the point in changing it. Devil you know etc. And I'd never get the enjoyment out of a Z4MR/Porsche as they're less usable day to day.

    Finally.

So then. That's almost £1500 in mods, preventative maintenance and general maintenance this month/week. Contisport 5 x2 Cambelt change Oil change and OPUP/filter change Brembos + Ds2500 pads + ATE Super Blue fluid Spacers New Bosch DV (thanks Tom)

    Finally.

See, this is the thing. You read forums, you buy the s**t they suggest. You read later posts (bearing in mind my S3 is four years into my ownership) and they change their minds. The standard thing to do for a bit more power on the S3 was 007P, Custom Code and Green Cotton PF... And then you get...
  16. J

    Finally.

Lol, makes sense. Out of interest, could you send me a link? There's talk of how much the 007Ps leak, hence the 008P release. Tempted to just return it to standard and sell the 007P. Most will just pick it up on eBay and should make the money back for the new N version. edit - yeah, I've heard...

    Finally.

Say that again buddy? The spring in the new standard DVs is better? Or your Bailey is better? What's on the 240?
  18. J

    Finally.

I've been told on 250+ cars it'll liven up the DV action, so better boost offboost boost reactions. Mine does suffer a little, for example if I launch and the car in front doesn't go quite as quickly as expected, foot off, then back on again, it's a little slower to come back on boost. Sod...

    Finally.

Sorry, meant the N249 bypass for BAMs. Also planning the Catch Can but as and when. Audi Sporters don't seem to have a definitive answer on the best thing to buy and of course, all of the modding "leaders" fab their own as they know Bill@Badger5 etc...

    Finally.

Need to work out if the LCR pads are the same as Brembo Junior GT pads now, so I can order up some DS2500s, as well as get some more ATE Super Blue fluid.
  21. J

    Finally.

Few updates - car needs the cambelt doing, so booked in for next weekend. Also needed two new rear tyres, so ContiSports5 going on the front this weekend with the fronts to the back. Clean as always. And then got a little silly, after catching the modding bug again after a recent trip to...

    Swissvax BOS

Cheers Ry but I've just spanked £££££ on the Panzer today in power and braking mods, so not sure a wax is going to get past the bank of boss lol!

    Lol, that sounds so whorish!

    Test Panel update

Likewise? Didn't receive the 1l version, just the waxybox tester, so if I am one of the two above, probably not necessary to send out guys (although I won't complain at having 1l more of it - great on carpets and engine bays!!). edit - sorry guys, just re read - PM'd with the Dressle review link.

    My TT QS

Re: My new car. TTQS Nah, Haldex I'd leave to the pros as well fella. Piece of mind. Similar to what Scrooge said about the Cambelt. You/friends can do it, but it's nice having a receipt for things like that. Oil change/modifications like brakes on the other hand is another matter.

    My TT QS

Re: My new car. TTQS Didn't you have a nail, though? Cam chain etc? I know they're known for stretching, which is what put me off and on to the S3.

    My TT QS

Re: My new car. TTQS The 1.8T react well to breathing mods, Alan. The main restrictions (and standard stages of tune) come in the form of; - front mount intercooler, to replace the two small and constricted side ones - 3" down pipe to the exhaust - 3" turbo intake pipe Even the exhaust is...
