well its quite easy to find out if its the spark plugs, that would be the first thing i check on a misfire

was it backfireing too?? like the title suggests?? most probably spark plugs are knackered due to sitting over the winter.

you understand that not resetting your airbag computer will render your airbags useless, also, do your seats have side airbags??
