I'd use Hammerite smooth. It'll be fine on them. Yeah it's worth while putting clear coat over the decals. You can get some other stuff too which @The Russian. Used on his to seal / protect them.

Front & rear lights, then get silver side repeater bulbs. Or you want something funky, Osram Diadems which are sort of blue, but flash orange.

Looking good! I painted up the the centres of mine & the edge of the discs. It was a mission but it stops them going rusty / manky etc.

I never realised that it had the phase 2 exhaust rear grilles. They look miles better than the crap phase 1 chicken wire. Parts bin mate :wink: My one's coloured, but there are newer cars with a phase 1 boot on them :confused:

I liked the one in the pic Ant posted up, it still has unpainted arches etc.

Let us know how the wheels come out please, I still need to get mine done, but no one can match the colour.
