I don't want to have to think about how many miles my tyre has done after 1000!!! Buy cheap, buy twice. There might be exceptions, there are always exceptions, but the majority of the time this is true.
I've spent over £100 per piece of rubber, but they'll last years and several thousand miles...
Personally, they're the thing that sticks you to the road. So willing to spend what ever is required.
Just put two ContiSport Contact 3s on the front of the Panzer. The difference in grip is truly incredible. They also have a rim protector which is a bonus. But 225/45/17s are 109+VAT fitted...
People are easy going at these meets because we are all friends. We know that if there is a problem we can talk as friends, not random people from the internet. And with two detailers on hand to correct anything for the banter of seeing each other again, people aren't that fussed.

If you want to learn, you can pick up a machine polisher and do it yourself, but you're talking hundreds for the kit and products. But then again, this will be the same from a detailer.
