Your speakers aren't up to it. Get them changed for some after market ones & you'll notice the difference.

Thanks, I'd probably only ever want to go as a passenger, no way I'd want to drive round it. I think now it's more of a fashion thing so it seems to attract a lot of idiots who think it's race, that's my perception.

It's also worth remembering that most manufacturers tend to keep stock of parts for around ten years, so after that (and when people have raided scrap yards etc) they'll be harder to come by. That's one of the reasons that getting parts for old 80's / 90's hot hatches is hard (and expensive)
