Oi, my car resembles that insult!
Was about to suggest this.
Highlander, this un, so probably to John O Groates ;)
Paul, mine is being cleaned, probably for the last time tonight :quiet:
WD40 works, but needs washing down afterwards because it's quite greasey (surprise surprise WD40 is greasey lol).
I would go with one of those magic sponges from JML as they work very well . . . somehow!!!
No is the answer.
But there is a solution. At some stage, you have got wax/sealent/polish on these black plastics and something like CG will just cover it and make it look tidy. But like you say, just as with waxes and sealents, this will wash away slowly but surely.
You need to actually...
No they are a JML trick. I wrote a thread a couple of months back, testing out different myths. WD40 works, PB works, erasers barely worked, the magic sponge worked and linseed oil worked.
NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED.
Oh sorry, was under the impression this was somewhere to vent my need. Apologies. I'll go back to the "Quit Smoking" thread.
Again, constructive lad;
By the time you have done the windows and bumper care, guessing that is about half hours work . . . so you left the polish on for that amount of time?
Also, in what way did you dry the polish off? The only thing you can do is apply it and work it in to the...
It won't fella, and it will still not mimmick your hand's motion (Random Orbital) so will just get hot and basically either damage the paint work, or, more likely, bugger itself!
Super Resin Polish. Auto Glym bob standard n00bie polish, but also good on most items, from wheels to metal, glass and plastic headlamps to paint work.
No. It will get bogged down as soon as you put any pressure on it what so ever.
It is £15 for a reason. It doesn't do anything. Sell it/give it back (if you can) and buy some SRP and applicators with the vouchers Halfrauds give you in return.
That, my friend, is a stunning example. I looked at these/still am looking but not sure on the handling. I think I prefer the R32/A3 3.2 for that, but looks wise a mate's Brera in that colour, coupled with yours, beats them hands down.
Oh and Jord's car is just epic!
Come on Kev, you can't really compare the two. Yes a large percentage of looks comes from the polishing stages, but the protection something like Onyx would give, coupled with looks, over something boggy standard like collinites is worth it if you can afford it.
IMO, either or chap. I prefer the Sonus pads to most that I have tried (if I was still a newbie). They're hard wearing and give good cut for the price.
In all honesty, there is going to be very little difference between the Kestrel and DAS. Not heard anything bad about either. It's only the...
Hai. Dodo is pisch. <--- purely to piss off Paul Brycey.
Lime prime is excellent and will be added to my collection from now on.
Born slippy is over priced and better results come from shampoo and water, let alone Megs last touch.
Blue Velvet is OK looks wise. Doesn't out last my Nattys...
