Yep, stock suspension is pretty awful. Mine wasn't on the stock suspension & it still wasn't that good.

A 20vt one will do a genuine 155mph (in standard form) the speedo will say about 170 though. The also do a ton in about 14.5 secs (standard form) In a straight line they are a weapon, round bends not so though. I had my old one round to 150 beans on a private run way, loads & loads left in it.

I like 106 gti's a lot (a mate had one for years ages ago) I just don't like the look of that one, the wheels & twin lights etc don't do it for me.

I can not imagine how fast that car is ! It'll be a weapon (assuming it's driveable) but i'm not keen on it.

Wheels & the morrette's are awful. Over all though it doesn't sound bad really. Usual problems on them though, rusty arches & boot lid etc. For the BIN i'd expect it to be a good solid car.

If you do them yourself you will need to leave the reflector part of the light visible, or they will fail the MOT. Personally i'm not a fan of tinted rear lights.
