Being lazy just isn't the way to go about things. If you go to a dealers for a part ex they will want to make a good few hundred from you (at least) Having the monies to buy the car puts you in a much better position.

Personally i'd sell the car you have privately, then go clio shopping. You wil lose out if you go for a part ex with a garage.

Don't worry about somewhere local having a car, travel a bit for one. - on 41k it should have had it's 36k service - including the aux belt.

I think the live & switched live are round the worng way. They need swapping round.

What colour is the brake light in the spoiler ? If it's a big red one it's a cup one, if it's clear it's not one.
