Poor PR, and the developer went bust/was under review. From what I heard the control mechanic was awful and the scares were cheap. Didn't live up to the franchise. Therefore I never bothered playing it.

It's because they've got such an awful rep for reliability, one which probably isn't justified tbh. With the mileage it's worth that all day long. Lovely looking car even with the paint defects. Wouldn't take much effort to spruce it up anyway.

Most foam filters will produce build up like that over time, the pipercross 60* range are the least prone to it though I've found. Generally the bigger the better. As long as the mesh isn't making it's way down there ;)

Theres a silcon spray you can use guys. Used it loads of times on electrical cable. Works great. Can't remember what its called. Or one of these: http://www.weatherhawk.com/rs232-cable-25 Needs to be pin to pin though, doesn't say on there
