Best doing a search lad, and the guide section is also good.
Hosing/pressure washers are dangerous and not required. Get some good all purpose foaming cleaner, like Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner (APC) or Auto Glym Engine and Machine Cleaner. Scrubbing brush and a damp cloth is all you will...
Just a quick one on this. If you buy a cheap Karcher and it goes wrong out side of warranty (say in a couple of years time) they can't do replacement parts for them. We bought a fairly expensive one at the time (level two or something) and they don't make spare parts.
Currently running a...
Great cars, not sure whether I would choose Passat or A4 if I had to choose a motorway barge, love both (parents having had both over the last twenty years, dad had two passat estates, best cars he had of that ilk).
Yes Rep indeed, sadly!
ASTs were from a group buy on here through KAM racing, sadly there are problems getting hold of them at the moment, not through any fault at KAM's end, I hasten to add.
Knowsit guppy mate :)
True, not sure on a conversion, but with it looking the way I want . . ...
I wuv woo too!
Not sure yet, might have to be, no idea why it has done that :(
Dan, bite me. White wheels might be on the cards over the next couple of weeks :)
Yeha was going to give them a quick call on Monday morning, but didn't want to mention it to you guys since it was nothing to do with your outstanding work. Really can't thank you enough Steve, superb work, car feels great, now sporting your stickers :)
Well it handles superbly lad, only one thing, the steering wheel is quite far off centre which bugged me for about 2mins. Might get it tracked somewhere again, if it really bugs me lol!
Yeah, just hsant seen love in a while, but was polished and sealed around 4 months ago, so will wash off...
Well as a lot of you already know my car went into Birchdown over Wed and Thurs of last week. Superior service by the guys there, really can't thank them enough!! AST Top Mounts fitted, then tracked and cambered at Tweaks. It is running -1 degree camber, positive castor . . . I think (Steve was...
Not 100%, they are pictures from a member on here that bought them from whiteline but ended up not fitting them as the garage fitted something different for his rear camber . . .
Yeah if you want to, but remember, if you get anything, however small, on the buffer head it will severly mark your paint work. I wouldn't, but I am a clean freak ;)
It is a mk2 ph2 clio D4ve, had thought they should look something along those lines. Could they be used to adjust the angle of bolts somewhere on the rear beam??
Claying and sealing? Two totally different things lad.
I would suggest sealing it before waxing as the sealent will bond to the paint work much better than a wax will, meaning you won't need to polish away contaminants as frequently.
OK, hopefully I might have these camber shims for the rear of my car on the way.
I have no idea what these things are meant to look like. Can someone tell me what is involved with fitting them, whether a novice can fit them and if not how much some kind soul on here/local company would charge...
Yes it would, but safest option would be for him to drive the 5 mins to yours :)
Also, once polised you need to protect.
wash -> clay -> wash -> polish -> seal -> wax for depth
Suggest EGP, Jeff's Acryllic or CG Blitz.

Didn't know about it to be honest! Have a 21st in the evening that I am helping out with (by drinking the alcohol and leching on the girls) so nto sure timing will be good!
Ill get some pics up soon lad, both mine were apparently even to start with.
Tweaks setup -1 deg camber, standard tracking and the three top allen key bolts are all facing forwards on both sides. So from what Steve said (don't quote me as it all goes over my head!) to run neg camber you need...
