    PBS Brakes Pads Help

I filed my f3 Mintex down and kept the shims and they're thus far silent and pretty aggressive on the road. Find out Saturday if they're worthy of track use too. Upto now though very impressed having come from cl rc6

Alfa 159 2.4 JTDM Sportwagon TI

They pop up from time to time, but late spec wagons with half leather and charcoal insert dash are uber rare. Plus still can't make my mind up if I want roof bars or not and that's a no change decision... Stupid alfa design department

Lovely cars, completely form over function and as such more than likely purchased with heart over head. I will own a late spec 1.7tbi version one day, I yearn for one, lol Enjoy

Engine Bay Painting - Best Method?

Vapour blasting gives the best OEM finish imo. Paint looks good at a distance but still looks like paint up close which isn't ideal imo if wanting standard silver look This is vapour

    Front end respray

They'd remove both panels and if in good nick just needing minimal standard prep and paint you're normally looking 250 quid a panel average. Any repairs and blending to rest of car would be more

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

True I would replace the engine and keep her going, but may need the 684 quid for exactly that this time in 2 weeks! Plus the day that happens will be end of an era, original engine and gearbox ended....sniff sniff @makavelli know where you're coming from, every update just crying out to be...

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

Usual winter story, just been cranking the miles again and nothing much to report. Sold the turinis provisionally and acquired some more standard cup wheels in better nick so tyres will be swapped over the summer and current set sold on. Mallory Park incoming February 2nd so fitted some semi...

That's the spirit Mark, back on track. Anyway you've got 70k to cover to catch up and achieve true ownership :p only then can you worry about mileage affecting value

clio 182 starting issues, any help please

Way more than 13 for a healthy alternator, you want 14.5v across the battery on idle or more

Clio 182 pretty much dead - what to do next

As above, they're all relatively easy fixes or at least easy to diagnose. Unplug each injector on idle and listen for change in engine note. If one makes no change that's the faulty one Check alternator output when on idle with multimeter, across battery and directly off alternator to see if...

All Racing Blue 182's on the Forum...

Cheers old bean, she's on 16mm front and 10mm rear spacers. Stock cup shocks and H&R springs. Forget mileage on suspension components but it'll be documented in my project thread I guess but I'd say the springs are old enough and well used enough to be fully settled by now, flol
