due to the ledge that is Joshydee off here, i might have resolved the problem with my cars steering setup. bought a steering rack off him which consists of the actual rack and joins that go to the hubs etc. just wondered if some boffin in the mechanical world could give me a guestimate on...

the cars steering drops before the rest of the car. i know clios have floating top mounts, but my rack moves all over the place. its god scary to drive quickly ie motorways. gets very tiring for long journies!

bought that for dad's car, works wonders. will be investing myself once i get a pad with a driveway and a hose

i personally wouldnt risk it lad, but i dont think it will make a lot of difference. i would use on the rear tbf. jamie

car was motd a while back (couple of weeks) cut a long story short just read the report and "things to watch out for" column stated that the antiroll bar bushes were a little worn, but not to cause too much movement . . . now i have no idea about mechanics sadly, but could this be the cause...
