Just bought a slightly tired whiteline arb and the outer bushes are a bit worse for wear
plan is to freshen it up with some powdercoat and new outer bushes before fitting, question is, where can I get new bushes for it?
did a quick forum then google search but not turned up much, any...
welcome, love the old rolla, proper bit of kit and if it was me i'd be saving for the 86 but keeping the old skool as well ;)
hope you enjoy the clio, I think I have the same washer jet issue incoming on my 182 that's awaiting the road come November, been avoiding it and hoping I can fix it...
lovely work mate, i would love to do something like this, Brigsy on RTOC's 5 powered Extra Van van makes me piss as well, nowt like seeing a van hammer round a track :)
you can change your username yourself once a year from the user control panel accessed through the settings link at the top of the forum, then go into user profile ;)
no danger chap, as said could be a money spinner if you can keep it covert ops from the boss is all ;)
when you say its based on phase 1 172 centres, I spose just 4 chopped down of them would do it? just thinking I may try that on mine if it works!
I know the subject of inlets has been covered multiple times but I cant find a definitive answer and I'm bored of the search function having spent the last 20 fruitless minutes attempting to figure it out for myself.
basically I have a phase 1 172 (cable throttle) that I was going to remove...
so if you have the mold still, shouldn't take long to turn it into a little money spinner, I know i'd have a set and be willing to pay if the fit and finish is decent enough, the 2118's look trousers without centres, its a massive shock to me that they don't have any!
I find the Williams' more responsive and much more connected. I think point to point I can do a run quicker in the 172/182 but I can guarantee which will have me trying to get the arse end out and laughing until my socks fall off.............well until I sold it :(
I use a cover, work well to keep the worst of fallout/dust off the car but can rub a bit and you need to keep on top of the waterproofing or it does nothing.
