I'm not sure if Nick Hill built the engine tbh. The car i'm on about is the bright red, J reg one, Adi later owned it (I assume your talking aobut the same car ?)
I prefer them as they are tbh.
The other thing with painting them is thay you'd have to use to right paint as otherwise if you nudged the splitter the paint would just crack & then peel off.
Donna,
as said you'll be better off selling it privately, although as you have outstanding finance on it, it's not actually yours to sell yet.
The market at the min is on it's ar*e, great for buyers but naff for sellers. If you were considering selling the best time would be early next year...
^
Watch out with those ones. A few stories of them on here of them only lasting a short while & melting the light clusters. They are cheap copies.
I wouldn't touch them at all tbh.
Yeah they're the ones, they cost about £12 a pair.
If not check out the diadems I mentioned earlier on.
You need offset pins by the way, both front & back are offset.
Re: Clio Trophey at car auction
I would be interesting to find out. I guess it's very rare for a trophy to go to auction, normally a dealers would keep it to sell.
The one good thing is that you paid on a credit card, as said get down the cab or a solicitiors thogh.
There is no way your liable for another persons parking fines & they can't make you pay (I know you did) tbh you could have called the police.
A valver engine running a megane 2.0 bottom end was done ages ago. I think Matbrown did it about five years ago now.
This was before everyone started willifying valvers (or making what's known as a hybrid on here)
If you go for an early focus i'd avoid the 1.4 & 1.6 as they are slow as.
My mum has a 2.0 esp only group 8 insurance, I think she only pays £250 a year.
