Have you got it installed with the latest drivers etc?
I just get the normal beep now everything's installed and the bios has been saved

For gaming it probably doesn't matter too much what type of panel it is. As long as it's a got a good refresh rate, response time and colour rating like DCI-P3 and 10bit colour.
