I've got 130mm trumpets on my K-tec kit ;) + the K-tec bodies are 40mm longer than the normal Jenvey offering so my inlet lenth is 50mm longer than a Jenvey setup with 120mm trumpets.
Yeah, worth a try.
The ECU and software is pretty good tbh. The only downside is you lose the shift light and trip computer.
The sound is great though :D
I'd keep the helper springs and get some uprated 7" springs. Also are you certain they're not 60mm springs as I'm sure FK run 60mm like the rest of the Germans.
Tell him Tom says hi!
Have a chat with him about what to do. But the first things for going on track really are (if they haven't been done already) Brembo HC discs with decent pads (DS2500/3000, RC5+, Yellowstuff), braided lines and good brake fluid, Vibratechnics engine mounts and Powerflex...
A friend of mine runs Powerflow North West in Deeside. He'll make you whatever you want i.e stealth or not, loud/quiet etc. and it won't cost the earth either.
I use Federal RSR on road and track, saves having multiple sets of wheels. They're great in the wet and dry and cheap to replace. I was considering other tyres but they cost over double what the RSR cost.
The kit comes with bigger injectors iirc.
One of the better boost solenoids is the Sierra Cosworth amal valve imo.
Depending how the boost comes in and how big the peak is on the torque curve you might not need to do anything.
My setup is now AST sportline 1s with 400lb front and 285lb rear. Can't fault it on the road. I had cooksport springs before and the ASTs are another level. Good ride which is firm but not crashy but a very noticeable reduction in roll. I need to get it on track and see how much better it is...
