I fitted a ph1 172 airbox to my 182 and to my 172 and it was by far the best sounding and imo performing. This is compared to an expensive induction kit (enclosed carbon fibre) and the standard 172/182 airbox.
Try and pick up a ph1 172 airbox, you won't regret it.

Really would love the chance of one of these. Won't happen in the near or distant future though I doubt. Will have to try and get a ride or test drive in one some time.
Definitely not worth sitting it around for 3-4 years. Mess with all variables as above but try every single insurance company, not just comparison websites. You will get it down and you'll be surprised by how much.
The 182 needs to be driven as you'll only get upset looking at it...
Directline can also surprise. They were good for me anyway.
Looks an absolute bargain that, well done. You can complain at the price you paid. Add £1000 for belts, refurb alloys and bits and pieces and you have an utter steal!!
