Southend ain't that bad really, my worst experience there is beaching my mini on one of the speed bumps along the front, mucho embarrassment!

there are large differences in prices simple because alot of them have had a hard life and have been trashed and people want rid of them, others you will pay more for a well looked after example which has all the service documents etc.
i'd happily pay a little more to get a good one.
the car should pull well after 100, well better than a gti or vts.
could be a dodge wheel bearing or brakes semi binding??
i'm guessing TBH but look at things on the car that would cause abnormal rolling resistance.
Yeah Rileys, there are a couple of meets that happen local to you so keep and eye out in the Local Meetings section. Good if you could make it to some of them to meet the locals!
even if i wasn't going away i still would have sold it and got a PH1 because i prefer the look of them and it would freed up some money for a supercharger kit. Also i don't have the facilities to sort a car properly for that period of time.

No doubt it will shorten the life of the engine, but we don't know by how much. Hence why I said I was going to wait to see how people get on with the kits.
i probably wouldn't drive much quicker day to day with the kit installed, would save it for the track TBH.
I will be investing in a supercharger kit this time next year if the kits prove themselves.
I personally wouldn't feel comfortable doing the conversion yet as there are quite a few unknowns with regards to how it will effect the cars 'long term' even though GDI seem to be leading the way with...
