if i could get the brembos at trade price then i would. would be using them for normal road use with the odd track day over summer.
i quite liked the redstuff pads, seemed to hold up really well on track on my old 182.

my vote goes to T1R's from camskill
best dedicated road tyre for the price i have had on my clio by a mile. who cares if they only last 10k they are only £29 a corner.
7.30 pm i presume? i can meet you at the pub car park in takley at 7.30 & go from there? I forget the name of the pub but it is the only one at that cross road with the traffic lights.

i saw you the other day as well going from harlow towards hatfield heath, is you car lowered? looked like a bumpy ride lol!
If you do a search on here there is plenty of information about what to look for when buy a 172, have a little look.
if you are not to sure what to look for then im sure a friendly knowledgeable member (i'm not knowledgeable) off of here might be able to help you out if you view a car locally...
My 182 - Owned for 3 years - No problems
My 172 - Owned for 4 months - No problems
If you look for a car that has been serviced regularly and has clearly been looked after, you will have to be unlucky for any major problems.
