Very nice chap. Really fancied owning one for a decent period of time. Quite a few of them out there abused but they are pretty strong cars so you take your risks I suppose.
You're bang on although stating the obvious. Wax is never ever just about durability/performance. It can't be. Reason? A £20, even a £10 wax will last longer than a £1000 (Vintage) does that make the £10 one better?
A car can go from A to B but people still buy fancy cars that do the same...
Again Dave, my porblem with the likes of spirit is it's almost Glasur cost and imo it can't compete with the boutique feel. Of course Glasur beads and sheets like the good ole days! It's old school cool!
Finis wax punches above a lot of £100 waxes on looks and durability. I always said If I had the money i'd have it poured into the vintage container. :o
Boutique waxes are about the whole experience. AG HD outlasts my entire repertoire but it's last when it comes to feeling special.

;) Pot of new or used Swissvax Shield or for a little less some Glasur. I'm not going to give too many alternatives because you've asked a simple question. If you want a special wax with a boutique feel, you simply don't get that by spending £30/£40.
Zymol Carbon would be my...
There's your man! I'd trust spikey with my own cars. ;)

Are you local Ant? Surely someone is? Even something like a strong sealant or wax, doesn't even have to be ceramic if a hobbyist is applying! Autoglym HD even. If the prep work is done properly it'll look great after a wash/dry and a QD.
If they've been done then where about is the massive question and a receipt to prove it. If not when is it required and how much is the car.
Your budget is high if anything so you should end up with a cracking example. Research the "full fat" models, that's the one you want.
Any colour in...
