Quite surprised to see you used Zaino in it Dawn, I'm doing something similar with the elite waxes and though of Zaino but with it being a liquid I didn't think it would work.
Just an update on my White one, was out with 2 mates last week they both have Black ones, very surprised to see how marked their's looked. Just like all the images i've seen of coating coming off etc.
Very happy I went with White, still looks boxfresh.
Thanks for posting up Chris. I'll update tonight my thread.
I don't get water spotting up here so to speak unless it's dust. Soft water but I suppose any beading will do that especially with no actual protection underneath.
Great little additional product. It's a tad expensive to use as a...
I was similar with the TT wanted Misano Red, decided to buy a better car in a rare but more simple colour Avus Silver.
If you really want a car it's hard to keep waiting on a colour coming up.
Sorry, no idea why I said that, we even resprayed the front end of Ian's in mars. Idiota.
Not my favourite colour for a Vee. It does look pretty though.
That is a superb purchase mate. The colour wouldn't be my first choice, but simply can't take away it's epciness. Not enough of them on here!
I fancy one with some crazy straight through exhaust, spitting flames and crackling on the overrun just to make the sound match the crazy looks.
They come off once a year, once they're sealed you don't ever have to take them off to clean them imo.
Why is it easier? The process has to be the same. Shirley?
I hate those spline ones! Had them on the Frp, terrible idea, especially with any corrosion, can end up with some serious issues getting them off.
I just want standard Silver or Anthracite bolts, i'll use the locking wheel bolts that I have. Need to get those calipers refurbed too.
I don't understand the stud conversion. Seems like the stupidest mod in the world. I don't actually see what difference it would make from bolts. Track car maybe but now really going to make any difference to a daily.
You can buy fancy bolts also, doesn't have to be nuts. I'm going for Silver...
Lols. Good nature mate. Tbf if I was to wait until it was at my standard it would be summer!
Calipers and wheel bolts are going to need some head scratching! Rusty.
Lols. How anyone with even an ounce of car care love can own a Black car is beyond me. Credit to you Chris.
My first Clio was Black, way before I knew what "detailing" was, I would be mentally insane to have another Black car. Seriously they would cart me off to the loony bin.
Looking at CT Dave I think a bit like Frp owners did, they're trying to get prices up.
It only takes 3 people when there are only 5 for sale to up their 70k model to 4.5-5k and everyone follows suit.
Just how the market works really.
Buy smart, negates any depreciation or struggle to sell on.
It will enhance the clarity whilst adding some depth due the masking some light marring. So in an answer yes but not in the way you might think.
Cleansing the paint and de-contaminating is the important part of flake pop.
I love the V6. Sadly that colour is terrible and uninspiring. Some say the same about Lunar but I don't mind that. I've seen 2 heavily detailed Acid Yellow Vees and like I said it's very uninspiring on such an intoxicating car.
No one puts anything on parts. A bodyshop charges the rrp like any place would, then the insurance negotiates any discount. You don't take into account discounts at this stage.
