@Nik any updates on the mobile tyre fitter? Need to get tyres fitted if not available on the day...

Get yourself a F-super diagnostic tool from ebay, paid around £12 for mine and its brilliant. They're the same as what Ford use to run diagnostics but rip off versions and a quarter of the price of a single session from Ford.

Very interested, been searching high and low for a tyre centre nearby but they're just not local enough to get there and back without missing dinner or track time.

Yep ds2500s depending on which code then they need filling before fitting.

Just go out for a few miles trying not to use the brakes, pull over and check the heat off the brake discs, if they're binding the discs will be hot.

Yeah check the pads mate, if low get a spare set if possible. Fluid checks and that thing will be good to go mate, especially with that box on track. I'll trade cars with you for a few laps if you fancy a blast in a Clio.... :tongueout:

You'll be sound mate, as you say steady and build it lap after lap. Will be different if it rains though, lol.

The focus is the lighter car even in st-3 spec and 5 doors coming in at 1362kg, where as the Mazda 3 MPS comes in at a lardy 1483kg. Info taken from parkers.

I run 35 on my 182 mate with -2.5 camber and 40mm lowering springs no problem at all.

Morning and afternoon with my mate as an additional driver. Pretty much standard 182 FF with track tyres, track brakes and EPC budget lowering springs.

£1500 for a fixed rate damping coilover seems very steep to me. I know they'll be good but nearly double the price of BCs they've priced themselves out of the market IMO.

That would be to soft at the rear for track, @Niall has just got a set with 8/8 and he says they're perfect for road and very good on track, i'll be going 10/8 for mine which is only used on road to bed in parts and drive to and from the track. Clio racers use harder springs on the rear...

Which ever set is in the best condition and add stiffer springs.

How tall are you? I'm 6ft and have no spacers and have them as low as possible, but I have the crap runners the Clubsports come with and it's not low enough for me. I'm gonna try and remove the runners tomorrow and see the difference.

Stick with what you've got and save for some BC coilovers.

Me to as the way a steer with the controller is crazy...so my mate says. I thought its was normal to tap the stick instead of actually using your thump with small smooth inputs, lol. Tried the latter and no chance, I've been tapping to steer on racing games since the first xbox came out.

Cant print my e-tickets as my work block certain images including the barcode and scan pic for the e-ticket, can I not show the email on my phone on arrival or does it need to be printed?

We'll realistically be there around 7-8, get the tent up, then a few hours boozing and bed. Me and my pal are both on the AM session so need to be fresh! Saturday though...

Defo 35, I have both 35 & 43 wheels and my OZ's in 43 look a bit meh compared to my Sparco/OZ's in 35.

I had both sides up mate when fitting mine, was a tight as a nuns chuff! Has to get my missus to stand on the beam to fit them.
