I used a febi-bilstein thermostat as well which works fine, £6 from ebay with seal. Renault one is near £20.

Yeah it must be mate, it's probably 5L Coolant and 2L of fresh water. It'll be reet.

OK so just completed a flush and changed the thermostat but the system only took 5L. Thing is I couldn't get the lower rad pipe off on the right of the engine, so had to pull the one of the left side by the oil filter which is a little higher. Flushed it through with water until clear...

Mine does it, but as it's a track car and its perfectly functional I don't care.

Try changing your steering sensitivity to 35 mate, that helped a lot on this game for me.

You can change your set up for time trail, I had a play about but made it slower.

That's how I figured it as my V70A's are a hard (K91) compound versus the medium (GG) compound of the R888's, All 4 are stone compound at the minute and are in desperate need of some tyre softener to bring them back to life.
