Driving up the A1 north bound today, driving back from lincolnshire.
Massive Crack in the middle of my Valvers windscreen.
Phoned insurance and according to them am not covered for windscreen damage just side windows.
Going through Admiral. TPFT.
So looks like I have to take the bill...
I noticed somewhere on here the other day something about some valvers having oil coolers ?
Whats that all about ?
is there any other little special things on valvers to look out for ?
what do you make of the k-tec system ?
Which tail pipe did you opt. for ?
I had a Piper Exhaust on my fiesta 1.4 and that popped like mad !
I loved it.
Any one got Piper on there Valer at the mo ?
I have a valver and wonder if there is any exhaust people recommend for getting rally style popping from the exhaust :rasp:
I just love that noise !
even better if i had a dump valve and popping :D
and maybe a meaty V8 roar, of even a subaru boxer engine tone

try the throttle body sensor -
thats what was up on my focus would just idle really bad and rev it's self and revs would rise really high when changin gear.
you havn't changed the air filter or exhaust and not dissconnected the battery to reset ECU ?
in the end.
Car is open. Was just the battery - lead being loose.
But now I can't reset the Alarm/Immoboliser and the engine is totally immobolised.
So gotta get my local alarm people out to either rip that one out (it's really old) and stick a new one in or get them to sort this one out...

can't get anything in even near the battery.
so i'll just have to ring the AA said if i pay £36 they will get a man round in 45 mins (thats AA mins) lol

i know one thing when i do whack the connection back on am going to need a new set of under crackers cause the alarm will go off once i get it connected and the siren is right above me head !!
just readin up on the alarm,
it's got a warning system if car battery is going low.
didn't get that so am thinking dodgy connection !?
AA member. but only road side.
still got lock on boot, but it won't turn. tried wd 40 in it that was about an hour ago still not turn. only turns a little bit but button presses in. just the head unit in the way of ice.
when i serviced the car i remember when i connected the battery back up the first time it didn't work and...
yeah they open from the windscreen side.
this is a b**ch of a problem.
but as u say i need to learn how the battery has gone dead so quick.
i turned lights on and that before i started the engine they where not dim or flickering.
any one want to buy a locked valver parked in my garage ? lol

Locked my car the nite with my clifford alarm.
Locked the garage and the alarm started going off but it was a stupid weak noise.
Car won't open and alarm has stopped.
Car started first time to drive car into garage so don't know if it can be car battery.
I can't get into the car any way...
