Personally i'm not a fan. They just didn't seem to bring anything unique to the table so to speak. Their own nano sealants weren't quite " nano" enough to work. Ie I could outlast Bodywrap with some Z2. Infact BOS/Z2 combo on my Boss' 997 has lasted longer.
Yeah I know. Gutted.
It's the simple narsiccistic self-importance vibe, "no difficult questions please guys", that to me is what DW has become. Maybe it's the simple case he does know simply everything and i'm jealous... maybe.
After selling similar recently i'd say yes. Strike while the iron is hot, although i'm not sure what the values are like at the moment. I do think it would sell eventually.
Good luck if you do hun. My thought process is put it up for sale, what's the worst that can happen? You don't have to...
Oh hi there. Care? I had about 9 texts from people this evening about that thread. Reminds me how much people think his head is up his own bum.
Hi Kelly. I personally don't enjoy your threads that much but hey what the f**k do I know.
I'll read the whole thread later. I can't actually sign...
I got rid of the 800 last year mate. Been using the 3M for a while now. Different level to the 801 obviously. The Millwaukee is still a lovely machine.
Totally agree Dave. Good post mate.
The quality thing is evident, little cheaper made, simple rotary motor, not as ergonomical as most (top hand position etc) heat build up sometimes. It's entry level, and a hundreds times better than Dodo's Silverline rip off, now that was pish!
Yeah, the one it comes with is okay but i'd buy something like this...

Personally if you have spare money then yes. Rotary for polishing, DA for polishing soft paint, DA for glazing and possibly cleansing. I'd love to have both but just wasn't using the DA much and I have a technique of glazing with the rotary so it's fine.
It's been happening for a longtime before you started detailing chappers. Just the way it is I guess. I do love Chemical Guys marketing... brilliant stuff!
I used the original machine about a year ago, well before it came to the uk. Sold throughout Europe under a different name. Was a bit upset when I realised Cyc were selling the ep800 and the 801 was a better machine and available.
It's a superb entry machine, again probably the best entry level...
I kinda agree. I at a loss to think of a product off the top of my head that I buy in a supermarket but people see it as undehand. Especially when the company you are buying from are actually selling to other people to brand there own products.
I mentioned to JD before that me and Craig...
Maybe one day there will be a governing body although you're still protected with trading standards, the detailing industry has a will of it's own.
To be fair all people are doing is running a business. It's up to the customer to do the research I guess. It's certainly an eye opener... and a...
