Cheers Robbo, much appreciated
Cheers Ant. It's a tidy car the owner is a superb mechanic.
Cheers Paul. Appreciate the comments.
I'm not the biggest fan of the wheels but the owner is thinking of a change of colour possibly.
Thanks Sj, he confused the hell outta me.
Thanks mate, the owner was very happy with the job and that's the most important thing. I'd have liked a little longer on it but time was tight.
Glass cleaners? Anything goes really. I don't rate autoglym fast glass. Very smeary imo.
Anything...
Lols at it being a rep. Did you not see the pictures?
I'll remember and grab a picture next time I see him. I'll be sure to mention that it looks like a rep.
Thanks chap. Lots of work involved in wet sanding a car. Plenty of Pros offer it these days though.
Haha, it's an asw incarnate! Thanks D!
Cheers mate, the owner has ploughed plenty of cash into it!
I did but I don't know how to do it like other people do, maybe I need to upgrade to the...
You're kinda not using C1+ correctly though. It would have been comparable to old C1 but not this one on it's own.
C1+ will last longer and protect better but it doesn't sheet and bead like other sealants, it wasn't made for that. It's a ceramic base and the Silo seal helps the slickness and...
I love it mate. Durability will be another factor but it's amazing to use, just so oily and "spreadable". If you're looking for a wax in that price range and you don't need it to withstand a nuclear blast it's hard to beat. I couldn't recommend anything over it in that price range.
Thanks...
Possibly. There are better out there. I think even standard Silver would help.
Thank you! :)
Cheers Kane. It's got a bit of an aura about it.
Thanks chap, thy have certainly come down in price little.
Agreed, he's thinking about amphasite.
1. Thanks.
2. A little but they aren't my favourite.
3. Most of the afters were shot using a Canon 1000D... think myself and Craig need practice! :o
Hi again chaps. Just a little write up (plenty of pictures) on a stunning Escort Cosworth. This was only in for a tidy up and some protection.
I'd just like to say a massive thanks to the owner, Andy for letting me work on his pride and joy, it was a pleasure to work on. The car was resprayed...
White and Red are better than Green but it's still lairy and awesome!
Hero buy. You VX looks superb mate. I couldn't wait to see the pictures knowing you had taken them. Amazing colour in that Grey.
Good luck with the sale. I'd remove the Cat C-D part and just leave "HPI clear". Just people...
I need a mega order soon!
Been fannying around with different stuff. Need to get my finger out. Think my detail on Sunday can pay for it! Ah fun times.. I can't see much change from £150. FML! :(
Waaaaay to much mate. The wax should be hardly seen on the panel.
I must have had 10+ coats out of a Purple Haze panel pot and still have lots left. Once the applicator is "loaded" with product you really hardly need to revisit the pot.
It's a 30ml pot iirc.
