Re: Ph1 172 Done the graph overlays so you can see the before and after, the standard inlet give a big peak in the midrange so I'm losing out around 4500 and 5000 but above that I'm gaining quite a bit. I can feel it too, it doesn't have the kick it had at 4.5k but it feels much quicker overall...

Re: Ph1 172 Yes, it's making the figures it should :) and more importantly, compression is all good and the injector is sorted. Ready to go for this year now! Good, I need to do a stronger return spring, so the revs drop quicker but other than that it's great. Definitely quicker than it was...

Re: Ph1 172 Previous power was 152 at the wheels (dyno dynamics corrected it to 184 at the fly). It is now 171 at the wheels, so using the same factor for losses that's 207 at the fly. I'm going to overlay graphs later :)

Re: Ph1 172 From 2001 on. It depends on the model. Only thing worth noting is the spigot is 64mm so will need a ring knocking up. Otherwise they have a height of 44mm like the Clio discs and are 4x100

What work do you need doing?

It'll be perfect with the ph1 strips back on!

Re: Ph1 172 Went in for mapping this morning but injector number 1 was knackered so ECP came to the rescue with a new one and mapping is going to start soon. Did a leakdown test and all was well so fingers crossed now for some decent numbers!

Have you considered Avo? They do a kit which is monotube front and twin tube rear, all height and damping adjustable.

Used a .cal fIle on my ph1. It worked well and didn't need a .rst file.

Re: Ph1 172 Did some tinkering today. Took an angle grinder to a 4 pot calliper then tried it in place. So next step is to machine it down properly and convert it to radial mount then decide on discs and makes some brackets. Also got a couple of pics to show how it sits now with the cup...

I took it out and I couldn't really make anything out from looking at it. But I blew a bit of air through it and it only came out of the top holes, not the middle or bottom ones.

You might have pinched the seal perhaps. Maybe need a new one, they're only around £3-4 from Renault.

Ahh, when I saw 182 being different to 172 I assumed they would be for the cup pack. You could always swap to non-cup front hubs. Cheap enough!

Larkspeed is cheapest. Get the rears and leave them on soft. Then get the fronts when you've got the cooksports. I run the same setup, it's great!

Extra width (and thus camber) comes from the subframe. Extra caster comes from the wishbones. Eibach sportlines will most likely give the drop you want. As for shocks the 172 cup was a bit light than the 182 cup so whether the damping is greater in the 182 or not I don't know... The choices...

They're made from blanks which is good and they are the same profile as the catcams 428. Nothing amazing but a bit better than standard.

Looks great! Tidied that up a treat. The Williams wheels should stay. Not keen on the aerial though

Re: Ph1 172 My filter is ok at the moment, I'll keep a close eye on it and change it when required. I decided whilst the weather was decent to change my Ph1 seats over to the 172 Cup seats I got from Carbonraider I gave them a clean and swapped the runners and pretensioners over from the Ph1...

Get some spacers on the front then you can run more camber.

089 has a 3.89 final drive. 129 is 4.07. Otherwise gears are the same.

Get rid of the tar pads on the floors!

Are they the Michelins? How do you find them and what suspension are you running?
