    The dephaser pulley is the thing that alters the cam profile i believe? Sounds like a diesel when it's failing.

    I don't think i've ever heard of one giving up TBH. Usually suffer damage from broken cambelts/dephasers.

    IMO i don't see how anyone can drive a car on it's arse fast on normal roads. But agree slight lower is good.
