Sealant should never go on top of wax. If you have to it should always be sealant then wax. :) Strip it back with a cleanser then start again.

Just work it in with a finishing pad, I use 3m blue until it goes kinda clear then leave for a minute then buff off. Do quite a few passes per 18"x18" you can't go wrong though. 3 pea sized blobs then after the pad is primes you'll only need a couple of blobs.
